Baby Room Makeover

The Baby's room is finally finished. Minus a few finishing touches.
Here are the before pictures...

 I painted the tan color and two walls. Then with rulers, chalkline, stepstool, and tape created the lattice design.

 Then painted over it with olive green! And painted the rest of the walls.

Bathroom makeover

Back when I painted almost the entire interior of our new home I ran out of time and didn't get the guest bathroom done. So, I've since finished that project after moving in.

I love how this bathroom turned out. And, I think I've decided bathrooms are my favorite to remodel/decorate.

 I took mostly everything off the walls, the ugly medicine cabinet, the shelf, toothbrush holder and towel rod. And If you notice from the before and after pictures of the Master bathroom I swapped the mirrors. And of course the vinyl is a huge improvement over the carpet that was there.

And I'm so proud of myself for installing beadboard all by myself, since I didn't really know what I was doing when I started.

*New* Home Makeover

This weekend this house will become our home!! We are so excited. Been a long drawn out process! But we signed today and should get keys tomorrow!

The only rooms I didn't get painted were the Guest bathroom, but I did start on it, and the other 3 bedrooms!

Painting!

Tonight I am preparing for tomorrow's shopping trip.

Last time I was in the "big city" I brought home some paint chips. The house we are in the process of buying will be getting new floors. So I'm hoping (crossing fingers) that the Realtors will let me paint the walls inside, which are in desperate need of some TLC, before the new floors are installed.
It would be so nice to not have to worry about making a mess on brand new carpet/vinyl/laminate.

Nonetheless, I do plan to paint inside sooner or later.
Since I'm planning a trip to the big city tomorrow I figured I might as well buy paint just in case I can start on the project in the next week or so.

I have an idea in my head of what rooms I want painted and what colors I want.
After weeks of browsing pinterest, looking at magazines, and staring at paint chips I think I might be ready to purchase paint!

I'm excited! I love this kinda stuff!!

Can't wait to have colored walls!!
